BonPas Châteauneuf du Pape

Bonpas' chief winemaker Jean-Luc Durand has created a typical wine with notes of plums, juicy blackberries, herbs, pepper and barrel. The wine is made from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre and has been aged for 8 months in French oak barrels before bottling. The wine can be stored for up to 10 years to develop further complexity, aroma and length, but even now it is a first-class match to the season's delicious dishes of game, beef, lamb and mushrooms. The Bonpas winery is located in the southern Rhone valley, on the border of the Durance river.
